A few small lifestyle changes can clear up your acne very quickly. Wear loose t-shirts and take a bath in apple cider vinegar, it kills the bad bacteria on your skin that causes acne.
About acne, I know people tell you to try this or try that. But I have wasted a lot of money trying this or that. But

ihave never spent money on my acne, its still kinda bad but I realized that if you wash EVERYDAY, and don’t use soap, use anything BUT soap, and don’t pop them, they start to clear up within weeks.

well i used nutreogena but that broke out my face so now i use saint ives and it helps alot

Me too! I started by looking online and I found this amazing site (no, this is not one of those things to advertise that I just copy and pasted in here). I’ll put the link under sources, but I’m definitely going to try some of these. I never even knew about toothpaste and stuff like that! Try some of these… something has to work!
Wash your face, neck and hairline once or twice daily. Wash gently by rubbing your fingertips in a circular motion and rinse with lukewarm water.
Purchase over-the-counter acne medications. You may have to try several before you find the best one for your skin. They come in a wide range of prices, and more expensive is not always better.
Be careful when using all skin products. Apply only oil-free make-up, lotion and sunscreens. The ones that read “nonacnegenic” or “noncomedogenic” are best.
Keep hair products out of your face. Cover your face with a towel while applying hair gel, hairspray and mousse. While taking a shower, wash your face last to remove shampoo and conditioner that may have run down your face.
Keep sweat, germs and dirt off your face. Pull back long hair when it’s hot, and avoid wearing hats and sunglasses.
See a dermatologist if your acne is affecting your self-confidence. A doctor may prescribe a heavy-duty medication or take further preventative measures.
I have adult acne, not to much on my back, but I had it alot on my face. I take skin friendly vitamins like Vit. E (d-alpha) & Vit. C (w/rosehips). I also use Natures cure which has really worked wonders with me, and it only costs $9.99 for a 30 day supply, and I got mine from Walgreen’s. Also try using a good exfoliator with salycid acid, and also try to avoid foods that may trigger your acne. I know they say that food does not trigger acne, but certain foods really do for me. I also use Clinique’s Turnaround Radiance Peel Once-A-Week System, that is more expensive ($55.00 for 8 week supply) but it really helps to renew your skin, and fade the acne scars, I saw quite a difference after the first use. I hope this is helpful. This is what has worked for me so far, and my skin has been pretty clear for a good month now(which is a longtime for me), but it does take dedication and a lifestyle change as far as what you’re eating (if your acne may be triggered by food).

First, I understand where you’re coming from. I grew up with really bad acne, not only on my face but on my body as well. It was embarrassing and I tried everything including cleansers, creams, prescription medications, antibiotics, over the counter medications, and even shots from the dermatologist (ouch!) to get rid of it. I never did until many years later when it didn’t matter as much.
Here’s what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.
It’s not a topical issue, it doesn’t help much to treat it from the outside, it’s an inside job. When you treat it from the outside it’s like treating the symptoms, not the cause. You’ll hear from many people that’s not the case, and it’s usually because they want you to buy their creams or lotions, and keep buying them month after month after month (or they haven’t experienced the truth). Of course, when you stop using it (as you’ve experienced) your blemishes come back… because you’re not treating the cause. And the costs for all of these routines/drugs add up month after month.
If you think about it logically, it makes sense. Why do we get rashes, breakouts, or other skin irritations? It’s usually because of something we ate, something that wasn’t meant to be put on our skin, something that caused us stress and our body reacts to all those things.
Bottom line is that most every cause of acne is related to what you eat, how you feel and how you take care of yourself. Your skin is a reflection of what’s on the inside. We have lots of toxins building up in our systems and they have to be cleaned out on the inside and that will reflect on the outside. The blemishes, rashes, acne, etc are indications that your body is reacting to what you’re eating, to stress, toxins, chemicals, hormones… literally a great number of things.
Basically what I did in a nutshell was clean out my system by taking out the processed and junk foods, and added as much fresh fruits and vegetables to my diet as possible. This part is key. I also started drinking a lot of water daily, starting with 3 or 4 glasses when I wake up (adding a squeeze of fresh lemon at times). I also got more active every day, walking, running, sports, jumping, whatever, just getting active. It not only gave me more energy, it help flush out the toxins that were clogging up my system.
